That's progress....

In 1979 63.3 percent of recent high school graduates had employer-provided healthcard.  By 2004, only 33.7 percent did.

  1. For almost 40 years now, the national average dropout of high school rate has stayed about the same: approximately 33% (67% graduation rate)

    Graduation Rate in Baltimore County Public Schools - a little over 80%
    Graduation Rate in Baltimore City Public Schools - about 34%

  2. Another statistic, this one on the healthcare side rather than the high school side:
    “Last year 750,000 Americans filed bankruptcy. Over half of those bankruptcies were because of medical expenses. Over half of the people who filed bankruptcy because of medical expenses had health insurance."
